Celebrated one year at Old House Gardens. Working on updating

April
2011:
Finished my final design studio at Eastern Michigan University toward
my Second Bachelor's in Interior Design. The finished project
this semester, was a Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit. See the "Complete
Project: NICU" images in the design portfolio section.
Participated in the Interior Design Senior Gala at Eastern
Michigan University. Displayed projects from the past 2 years
in design.

September
2010:
Elected Secretary in the Eastern Michigan University's chapter of the
American Society of Interior Designers.
May
2010: Hired at Old House Gardens. An heirloom
flower bulb company brought me on as part of their crew! I work in Photoshop
to prepare photos for our catalog and website. Lots of color correcting,
repairing petals, removing pollen, etc. I also process all incoming orders
and answer customer questions about heirloom flower bulbs. I also help
edit our email newsletter that sends to more than 23,000 people.

August 2009: Prepared
to head back to school to finished what I had started with my Human Environments
minor. I set out to finish a Second
Bachelors in Interior Design. I needed a practical application for my
creativity, that could help others.

December 2008:
Graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in
Drawing with a minor in Human Environments. See

October 2008:
Participated in "20
x 20 Vision" hosted by the Huron Valley chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Each presenter (10 of us were selected) had 20 seconds per slide, 20
total slides to present an idea about art and design.

August 2008:
A joint show "In
Process and Progress" with a good friend of mine, Jesse Howell, marks the end of my drawing degree.
Several etchings and drawings from my years at EMU were displayed,
alongside Jesse's fantastic pieces from his Printmaking degree.
